Why we chose the Giro Contour RS Snowboard Goggles:
Everything we loved about last season’s debut from Giro, but repackaged in a women’s friendly size.
The all-new Contour RS is stacked with the same crisp clarity, plush comfort, world-class performance and stylish design as Giro’s original Contour goggle, but with a more refined silhouette that’s best suited to women (or men with a smaller-than-average face).

At first glance, you’d be forgiven for assuming these goggles don’t offer quite the same field of view as some of the bug-eyed, fighter-pilot-esque competition. Don’t be fooled, though – peripheral vision is dictated primarily by the profile of the frame, rather than the shape of the lens, and the Contour RS combines a sleek, frameless design with Giro’s state-of-the-art Expansion View Technology+. With a semi-spherical lens (sometimes known as toric), these goggles have a much lower profile that sits closer to the face. The vertical axis of the lens appears very shallow, but the curve along the horizontal axis is what enables that wider field of view, without any distortion in the corner.
