Whitelines Choice Winner: Best Snowboard Boot (Unisex)
PRICE: £300 / €320 / $300
For their services to feet, the crew at Deeluxe deserve a Nobel Prize. With a massive stable of models, many of which have stood the test of time, it’s a name you can trust. Plus most years, something comes along that raises the quality bar even higher.
The Deeluxe Team ID Ltd ticks both boxes. It’s built on a solid, team-rider-approved, foundation but also offers a new level of comfort for the most discerning feet.
Who are The Deeluxe Team ID Ltd For?
Surprise, surprise: this team-focused boot is built for freestyle. If happiness for you is heading to the park with a bag full of sandwiches, energy drinks and GoPros, these are exactly the kind of things you should have on your feet.

Deeluxe Formative Snowboard Boot 2022-2023
PRICE: £330 / €350 / $350
Elias Elhardt is the owner of one of the finest styles – and one of the biggest smiles – in snowboarding. He’s pure stoke, and it’s great to see he’s had input into the new Deeluxe Formative.
While the plan was to make an eco-friendly boot, both brand and rider have acknowledged that you can only push that side of things so far before you end up with a product that doesn’t last the distance (and is therefore soon landfill fodder – the polar opposite of sustainability). Still, the Formative is stepping in the right direction at least, with no compromise to performance.
Who are The Deeluxe Formative For?
Deeluxe say that a pair of these can go anywhere and do anything – and we’re inclined to agree, with one caveat. If you mostly like cruising the resort, while occasionally getting the heart-rate up in the park or backcountry, move along. If you’re the other way round, these are for you.

Deeluxe DNA Player Snowboard Boot 2022-2023
PRICE: £240
Loosey goosey baby! In our humble opinion, the Deeluxe DNA is one of the coolest looking boots on the market, and yes we know you shouldn’t buy boots based on aesthetics alone but c’mon they’re nice to look at, right? They’ve also got a lot going for them aside from the look, including a heat moldable thermoliner, dual zone lacing with heel lock from BOA and a power strap for increased response. The DNAs are definitely built for freestyle, and while you could wear them to hit the pro line kickers, we’re thinking more jibby features and street spots. They’re super flexible to allow you to get really creative with tweaking and poking, and will lend themselves to fun and creative features.

Deeluxe ID Dual BOA Snowboard Boot 2022-2023
PRICE: £350
This might be more of a ‘Captain Sensible’ option compared to something like the DNA, but the ID Dual Boa is one of the most versatile boots in Deeluxe’s line. It does lean more towards the freestyle end of the spectrum, but the middle of the road flex makes it a real winner for playful riding all over the mountain. BOA is a solid choice as a lacing system because of its ease of use and lifetime guarantee, Deeluxe have used a dual boa system to allow you to independently tighten both the top and bottom sections of the boot. Add in the cushy liner boot, the supportive footbed and grippy sole unit, and you’ve got a boot that’s comfy to wear day in and day out.
