We Are Still UnInc | YES. Snowboards Drop New Nostalgia Fuelled Line

Three legends, three legendary new snowboards, countless adventures ahead.

The owners of YES. Snowboards were integral members of the iconic UnInc crew back in the day, JP Solberg, Romain de Marchi and DCP were a group of young rebels who changed the face of snowboarding. The three decided they wanted to make a new line of boards, paying tribute to the good old UnInc days.

The old adage says “Good things come to those who wait”, but who wants to wait for something this rad. In the spirit of Christmas, the boys have released their new line early, it’s dropping in shops this week… Keep your eyes on the YES. Snowboards Instagram account to check which shops will be stocking the three new limited edition boards.

“Turning all the dials up to 10, the Basic Uninc uses a powerful camber, supercharged sintered base, and an extra set of slamback inserts”

Name a better movie part than Romain De Marchi in Absinthe’s POP. Go on, we’ll wait…exactly. RDM wanted to pay tribute to the hog he was riding when he shut down Chad’s, so he’s thrown it back with this Basic Uninc. With artwork from Kalonji, whose graphics featured on the Uninc. board he was riding at the time, this is a blast from the past, chock full of nostalgia but with a modern twist. Taking features from the fan favourite YES. Basic, but turning all the dials up to 10, the Basic Uninc uses a powerful camber, supercharged sintered base, and an extra set of slamback inserts for those blower pow days.

DCP chose to pay homage to surf culture and his love of the water with his board, based around the chassis of the hugely popular Hybrid. It’s like the lovechild of the 420 and the PYL, short and fat but with one hell of an aggressive bite. The Tapered Underbite paired with the volume shifted shape mean you’ll float like a butterfly and sting like a supercharged bee.

JP Solberg decided to dedicate his board to the untimely extinction of the White Rhino, and future conservation efforts for other species. He chose to work with the specc’d up Pro20 which made waves last season with not only its prowess in the pow, but its surprising all-terrain versatility. Dynamic camber underfoot, coupled with the mad surface area and snappy wood core are JP’s ticket to party laps in the pow all day long.
