Thanks to a PFC-free DWR coating, fully taped seams and a Gore-Tex shell, Volcom is able to offer a jacket and pair of pants that do an exquisite job at keeping the elements at bay.

Gore-Tex, being the industry leader when it comes to offering durable, waterproof, membranes, might be a slightly spennier option but definitely worth the money. With maximum waterproofing, there’s no need to worry about snow or rain getting in, whilst the also breathable membrane allows water vapour to evaporate into the air keeping you dry from the inside too.

While doing an excellent job at keeping out the elements, its lack of insulation also provides for the possibility to layer up for colder days while making the jacket ideal for warmer spring sessions too. This gives you the opportunity to better regulate the temperature according to your own needs, making this an excellent choice no matter the weather.
