Baseplate

All Vimana products have a slight freestyle twist to them, and the Scando bindings are made from ultra lightweight urethane to allow for loads of playful jibby riding. Not only does this softer baseplate material allow for throwing down in the park, but it’s also virtually indestructible, so you can go full HAM when you’re strapped in.

The baseplate is pre-curved, allowing the board to flex naturally underfoot and feature foam padding to soak up chatter and take some of the slap out of heavy landings. They’re not the most tech-heavy bindings on the market, but that’s part of their appeal- it’s no fuss, no frills riding. Taking things back to basics in a good way.
