As one of the strongest female riders around, Leanne Pelosi knows more than most about the state of women’s snowboarding. That’s the first thing she addresses in this, her episode of Vans’ Introspect web series.

It’s a well-worn statement, but one that’s still worth making: the competitive side of things may be in rude health, but those who want to make video parts are struggling to get the support they need. Just look at Laura Hadar, who recently had to retire despite still being in her prime.

Fortunately for Leanne (and us), she’s been able to put together some solid parts over the years, and the riding in this is no less awesome. As she explains, the options at Whistler-Blackcomb are pretty much limitless, and she certainly makes the most of it all here.
