The latin phrase “Omne Trium Perfectum” or ‘The Rule of Three’ principle suggests things that come in threes are inherently funnier, more satisfying and effective than any other number of things. So, three’s a magic number and Vans T.R.I.P.L.E is the perfect example why. It encompasses the ultimate snowboarding trifecta: park, street and back country. Each terrain offers its own challenges and difficulties and requires an alternate skill set, but each is awesome to ride in its own regard. The three episodes feature different members of the Vans Snow team tearing shit up across Austria, Japan and France.
“The ‘Sultan of Sidehits’ Arthur Longo and Jackson’s own ‘Back Country Prince’ Blake Paul travel to France”
The last instalment sees the ‘Sultan of Sidehits’ Arthur Longo and Jackson’s own Blake Paul travel to France. When you’re filming a backcountry edit in Europe, is there anywhere that springs to mind faster than Chamonix? The Euro-Mecca for powder played host to the Vans crew and delivered plenty of white gold, good vibes and gnarly terrain. We’re treated to some huge hits off the beaten path, masterfully set in some of the most picturesque spots in Cham.
Big Fridge and René take on the terrain park in Kitzsteinhorn in Chapter 1 and throw down so many heaters the surrounding snow was in imminent danger of melting. The guys show why they’re at the forefront of the park revolution and why they’re your favourite snowboarders favourite snowboarder.

In Chapter 2 Benny Urban, Ivika Jurgenson and Danimals were let loose on the streets in Hokkaido. The urban assault captured the high octane riding style of the crew and saw an onslaught of tricks unleashed on the Japanese streets.
Each Chapter in the series was filmed separately and photo whiz Matt Georges created a box set of limited edition magazines around the project. 500 of these super rare issues will be available in selected Vans stores across Europe.
