True Color Films could have called their new film ‘Oot N Aboot’ had they stuck to Canada for filming, but as it happens they went all over the world and it looks like they killed it.
As a non-profit production unit apparently “based on the vision of all its members: riders, photographers, filmmakers”, their aim is to capture and deliver what it is that most snowboarders love about snowboarding. (I would try putting that into words but I’m no Nicolas Muller, something that Travis Rice found out for himself doing the voice over for The Art Of Flight…)
This trailer for their latest project is no exception. It’s stacked full of clips that make you wish winter hadn’t just finished. Tons of knee-deep pow and a load of ballsy faces – especially Manuel Bernert’s two minutes in – combine with a decent soundtrack to leave you yearning for one more powder turn.
The crew got shots in Europe, Canada, Alaska and finally Japan, where in fact our esteemed editor Ed Blomfield joined them – the lucky git! Yep, he was out there harvesting the zen, shredding with Alvaro Vogel.
Anyway, this film is going to be epic and we can’t wait for it to drop this autumn!
