We all have our own ways of preserving our beautiful planet as a snow filled paradise – some go vegan, some choose to travel in more sustainable ways, and some invest in shower timers. Then there is the creative mind of a snowboarder, a mind that simply sees that there is always an opportunity for fun. If you ever wondered what a sustainable snowboard trip would look like when executed by a bunch of professional snowboarders – this is it.

Aiming to inspire people to travel eco-friendlier, Victor Daviet introduces us to his new concept called Trip Roulette. In the beginning of each episode, Victor spins three wheels, and the outcome of each wheel determines the three pillars the trip will be built on – where the crew will travel, by what eco transport and who will be the lucky guest to join for the journey.

“If you’ve ever came to wonder what a sustainable snowboard trip would look like when executed by a bunch of professional snowboarders – this is it”

In the first episode of Trip Roulette the crew heads to Corsica by a sailing boat, accompanied by none other than the man who’ve captured the eternal beauty of snowboarding in its most authentic way – Jerome Tanon. Yes, it’s got all the ingredients to further promote the question of “what the fuck are we doing here?!”. We’ll get to follow the crew sailing across the sea, travelling in the back of a van and hiking up the mountain to finally reach their destination – snow. As for any snowboard movie out there, it’s ridiculous, it’s fun, but once we get to see the guys riding, it’s absolutely epic – So what the hell will we do when there’s no snow left?

“It’s got all the ingredients to further promote the question of what the fuck are we doing here?!

As serious as the message that Victor wants to promote is, we do love that it is done in a true snowboard spirit. Fingers crossed, that the transportation wheel will stop at horse in one of the upcoming episodes, and we’ll get to witness a crew of snowboarders traveling through any given country by horse (entertainment guaranteed). If snowboarders, who from time to time might not be the most seriously behaved people out there, manage to send a message on how important our choice of transportation is, the rest of the world can too.
