We haven’t had a new Tric Trac from Burton in a while – we assumed they’d pretty much covered every common trick already. We had no idea that the frontside 540 still hadn’t been tric-traced though and this a refreshing break from all of the double and triple corks that we’ve been seeing at all of the high profile competitions going down left right and centre.

This features the riding of Mikkel Bang, Mikey Rencz, Jussi Oksanen, John Jackson, Danny Davis, Mark Sollors, Kimmy Fasani, Marko Grilc, and Enni Rukajarvi and each is a slightly different take on the trick – from slow and floaty backcountry versions to styled out equivalents off park kickers. It’s a beautiful trick to watch and even though it’s technically much easier than a 1080 or 1260, it’s also a more difficult trick to make look really good.
