As promised in issue 95 of Whitelines, here is the classic ‘Trapped in Chile’ section from Mack Dawg Productions‘ 2006 film Follow Me Around. During the annual catalogue shoot at Valle Nevado, the (then) Burton team of Jeremy Jones, Jussi Oksanen, DCP and Tadashi Fuse found themselves snowed in for nearly two weeks. With no road access, no lifts running but several feet of fresh, the guys had the mountain to themselves. Well what would you do? Hike lines and jib the crap out of the hotel of course! Throw in an inspired choice of soundtrack – Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ – and as Jeremy puts it so well: “Trapped in Chile dude. It was all time.”
