Japan’s has given a great deal to snowboarding, from inspirational riders like Tadashi Fuse and Kazu Kokubo to arguably the best pow fields in the world. Now some of the sport’s most influential names are asking you to help give something back.
Terje Haakonsen, Gigi Ruf and David Benedek are just some of the legendary figures contributing to Glycogen, an online charity auction for the tsunami relief fund that focuses on the worlds of snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing. They’ve all donated prizes personally, giving you the chance to give to a good cause and walk away with some truly unique stuff. With the likes of Kelly Slater and Dennis Busenitz also getting involved, it’s a must for any boardsports fan.
Bidding runs in blocks from now until the end of May. Head over to the Glycogen site to see the full list of donors and what they’ve donated. It is also possible to bid through j-Grab.
