Who Is The ThirtyTwo Lashed For?

Honestly, everyone and anyone. The Lashed will do a bit of everything without any complaints. These are the goldilocks of boots- not too soft, not too stiff. Juuuust right.

Shell & Outsole

As we’ve said, we love a traditional lace boot. Maybe we’re nostalgic, maybe we’re stuck in our ways but at the end of the day, there’s nothing quite like a classic lace for reliability, adjustability and security. (Also doesn’t hurt that it keeps the price down…)

Upgraded this season from EVA foam to a new Performance Rubber Outsole enhanced with cushioning to absorb vibrations from riding and take some of the sting out of those heavy landings in the park. Whilst not being particularly heavy, the Lashed are still pretty rugged, the Performance backstay beefs up the rear of the boot, adding an extra layer of protection to avoid any issues where it connects with your highbacks.

Sitting at a sweet 6/10 on the flex scale, the Lashed also has a semi-articluated cuff to allow to boot to flex across a certain point to avoid boot distortion. In a nutshell, it’ll stay the same flex for a lot longer, so you won’t be left with flappy boots that need replacing after a couple of weeks riding.

Liner

The Lashed use the ‘Team’ fit system, which includes the liner, footbed and harness. It’s not ThirtyTwo’s top shelf stuff, but it’s still pretty damn good, and again keeping the price down for some extra beer money is never a bad thing. The low profile footbed is biomechanically designed to offer arch support, whilst not infringing on the fit of the boot.

The liner itself is thermo-mouldable to provide a truly customised fit, with the bonus of having a 3D moulded tongue, and optional ankle inserts in case you’re not fully locked in around the heel. There’s also an independent power strap and heel harness for the liner, keeping you locked and loaded all day long.

Roundup

One of the most popular boots not just in the ThirtyTwo line, but on the market as a whole, the Lashed Lace is available in 8 colourways this season, including a Spring Break Special, and this, the Chris Bradshaw pro colourway.
