Jake Cornish is pretty lucky to be alive. Caught in a massive avalanche five years ago in Nendaz, Switzerland, Canadian Jake got dragged for a mile through a forest, shattering both his arms. Now patched up with nuts and bolts (and left with some serious scars) he’s still riding.

The White Line has some awesome footage of Jake and his mates hitting the park and the backcountry, but it’s also got a little bit more to it than that. We learn who Jake is, how snowboarding has shaped his life and above all, why he’s still doing it after such a lucky escape.

It was released back in October and is the first film from Button Up productions – a team of two British 20 year olds with no previous experience. Bearing all that in mind, it’s pretty damn good. They’re in the process of raising money for their 2013 project, Deeper than Snow. Here’s the link to their crowd funding campaign.
