Local lad Scotty James (aka the pipsqueak from the Aussie Olympic halfpipe team) is currently on top of the leaderboard. We’ll have to wait and see if he can stay ahead of his countrymen Clint Allan and Pete Long on day two. Whatever happens, none of them will have to worry about a challenge from Gjermund Bråten. He’s had to withdraw after snapping his collarbone.
