Stale Sandbech has become the latest snowboarder to stomp a triple trick of some description with this triple underflip 1260 during a session at Vierli in Norway. I say ‘some description’ because while the hype machine is already in full flow and the trick is being bandied across Twitter as yet another world first, we’re not exactly sure what makes this a ‘triple underflip’ versus Mark McMorris’s supposed ‘frontside triple cork’? Probably Stale doesn’t know or care really either. What we do know is that some people get very angry about these things – which is silly really, because it’s clear to us that the coolest trick in this video by far is the bit where Stale flicks up the can of drink with his board and catches it. Now THAT’s snowboarding.
