Here’s a rad little edit from UK rider Rich Jonas who’s just spent the winter (well, our summer) out in the marsupial and antipodean filled hills of Perisher, Australia. We’ve seen a fair bit from down under in the past couple of weeks from the likes of the Oi! Mate, Diaries Down Under and Perisher Press web series’ and this edit only adds to the view we already had on shredding in Australia: when it comes to terrain, the handful of resorts aren’t a patch on those in Europe and North America, but they sure know how to build and maintain a decent park or two. Being able to lap a park with such a good mix of rails and decent sized kickers has clearly done good things to Rich’s riding – check those clean, lofty 7’s and tech rail hits. Don’t know about you but we reckon a season there would sure beat having to endure the feeble excuse for a season that is a British summer…

Also loving the barrage of girlfriend questions/instructions at the start of the edit. We all know the necessity of it though – the one time you think your filmer knows exactly what’s up they go and miss your cleanest trick of the day because you didn’t remind them to turn the GoPro on…
