Rejoice, oh fans of El Blanco – the artist formerly known as The Flying Tomato is coming to Avoriaz in the Portes du Soleil for their opening weekend celebration on the 13th December with his band: Bad Things. More proof that he’s not moving away from snowboarding just yet then.

Along with board testing from many of the major retailers, the band will be putting on a free concert in the centre of Avoriaz as part of the annual Rock On Snowboard Tour that travels between different resort openings in France.

So, cheap early season lift passes, a chance to try out a bunch of new products and even see Mr White himself, that’s enough of an excuse for a December shred holiday isn’t it?
