Travelling is an essential part of snowboarding, but it doesn’t always have to be a means to an end. In our On The Road series we head to far-flung, often unusual destinations in search of a break from the norm. First to be punched into the sat-nav is the Polish town of Zakopane.
Eastern Europe is home to some of the world’s most affordable snowboarding, so lugging some ultra-HD cameras along for the ride just didn’t seem appropriate. With a fistful of GoPros and a little help from some local heroes, three young Brits took on everything from derelict buildings to monster park booters.
The result was a spring mission that Jamie Trinder, Henry Shackleton and Jack Labbett won’t soon forget – check out their footy, then read the full story here.
