If you’ve somehow managed to miss this event we strongly suggest you go and type in #holybowly in your Instagram search feed and get yourself cultivated on the raddest snowboard event out there. Holy Bowly 2019’s been a wrap for nearly a month now, and yet we’re constantly introduced to more sick edits from this mist of madness. No wonder though – throw all that creativity into one bowl and you’ll have footage to watch for the next year.

Lib Tech is one of the biggest supporters behind this mish mash of maneuvers and they’ve just dropped their latest edit Road to Holy Bowly Part Seven: Mammoth, CA. The Road to Holy Bowly is a series of blog posts and videos done by the Lib crew. The crew takes us with them on their journey to reach the Mammoth Mountain in California, where the Holy Bowly’s gone down for the last two years now.

In the seventh edition of the series the boys jump into their Libaru and the roadtrip begins. The crew starts off in the windy city of Seattle, slowly making their way down to Mammoth Mountain. As with any worthy snowboarder, they boys made sure they wouldn’t only bring one board to the party – the shorter mistress had a spot in the car too. The boy’s stop on the way to get some skateboarding in before heading down the holy bowls of Mammoth.

The rumour has it that this year’s bowl was the best one yet. With the weather being on point, and a bunch of sick riders making the most out of the setup, this must definitely have been one for the books. We’ll forever remain grateful to the genius who went “let’s build a mish mash of random bumps in a bowl and throw a bunch of snowboarders in it and see what happens”. Holy Bowly still remains as one of our favourite non comp events and we’re stoked that the guys keep it open for the public during the last days of the mayhem. Shredding down this course is actually doable for us mortals unlike if you threw a bunch of us into the Audi Nines course.
