Saturdays are for the boys girls. The Ride Saturday is a versatile, playful all-mountain board, built to go anywhere and everywhere and bring max fun to the table. This is your resort daily driver, Saturday is already everyone’s favourite day of the week, and it just might be your new favourite snowboard.

A versatile hybrid profile blends the best of both worlds, with a long positive camber section in the middle of the board bringing the heat for a lively and dynamic ride. The camber compresses when the board is weighted giving pre-loaded tension to pump in and out of turns and ride more aggressively.

“Pair this with Ride’s Quadratic Sidecut and you’ve got a board that might not be an out and out carving cannon, but it’ll still feel right at home ripping up groomers”

Pair this with Ride’s Quadratic Sidecut and you’ve got a board that might not be an out and out carving cannon, but it’ll still feel right at home ripping up groomers. The nose and tail scoop up after the inserts in the rocker zones, easing up the ride and allowing for easier float when you venture off the hardpack to score some freshies.

Under the hood, the Saturday is brimming with additives to enhance your ride. Starting with the carbon strips running lengthwise down the board at either edge, these boost your ollies and stop you from having to load up the board so much to get the snap you’re after. Carbon stringers sit under the bindings and relay your movements to the opposite contact point, creating a lightning fast response time.

“Bombproof urethane Slimewalls absorb impacts and suck up vibrations down the edges of the board”

The Saturday is the kind of snowboard you’ll be throwing round all over the mountain, and Ride have beefed it up to make sure it’s been built to last. Bombproof urethane Slimewalls absorb impacts and suck up vibrations down the edges of the board and the impact plates underfoot add strength and help prevent rip outs. A high end sintered base is perfect for hauling ass between spots and making sure you’ve got enough speed to avoid get knuckled.

This is your badass all-terrain vehicle, your new weekend weapon to rip it up. The Ride Saturday has the chops to do it all, you’ll get control and precision on piste, pop and playfulness in the park, and some sweet float in the pow.

Tester’s Verdict 2019/20

“I had the pleasure to ride this Ride board on Spring Break back in May, while blessed with some epic snow conditions up at Hintertux Glacier. There was shit tons of fresh snow, so we had powder for days and the pistes were nice and smooth too.

“Well, the Ride Saturday was super stable, and catching an edge wasn’t of any issue either”

Carving through the pistes and charging down the slopes is something I truly enjoy doing, and it’s become more or less my way of defining if an all-mountain board can be trusted or not. Happy to report then that the Ride Saturday was super stable, and catching an edge wasn’t much of an issue either.

This isn’t the board I’d choose for powder days, but then again it isn’t made for that either. The Ride Saturday is an all-rounder that works really well for linking your turns on the pistes, and I don’t see any reason for it to not be great for riding park as well considering its true twin shape and medium flex.

I’d definitely give this another go. Maybe take it to the park next time and see if it works as well there as it does on the piste.”
