Please Make Space (PMS) is a call to arms for ladies in snowboarding, a request for an equal slice of the pie and a visual statement of just how rad it can be when they’re given a chance in the spotlight.

Women have spent far too long fighting for scraps of the snowboard industry, the time has come for drastic change. “You can’t be what you can’t see” is a quote that although slightly cheesy, holds more than a grain of truth. Projects like PMS are essential in this uphill battle for inclusivity and equality within snowboarding, they’re giving opportunity and visibility to women in a way that’s been neglected for years.

Northwave and Drake may have been late to the women’s snowboarding party, but they’re sure as hell joining in style.
