With a mood-lifting design, the Picture Organic Clothing Tanya Jacket offers the ladies a quality 2L jacket that’s been sustainably produced (it comes with a recycled membrane). Whether you’re more of a neon or burgundy kind of girl, the design will most definitely make you stand out on the mountain.

By serving up a bio-sourced hard-shell, Picture is already doing a great deal more for this little planet of ours than many other companies out there. On top of that, the brand has also decided to use recycled materials to create the membrane – which rates at an impressively high 20K waterproofing and 15K breathability.

Adding to the jacket’s ability to keep you dry, as well as its general eco score, Picture’s also treated the jacket with a PFC-free durable water repellent coating – meaning you won’t need to worry about snow getting through (even when it turns wet and slushy in spring).

In order to make it easier to get in and out of the anorak jacket, Picture’s added a long half zip opening to the front. The big zipper, and the rest of the zippers on the jacket, are all waterproof – meaning that even if you’re left exposed on the mountain, you won’t need to worry about any water getting through.

As for additional features, there’s a big pouch pocket for you to rest your hands in. You can also, of course, store everything from small snacks to gloves in here as well. You know what pockets do. The well-implemented underarm zipper vents here will come in handy when you feel like you could do with a nice bit of fresh air.

On top of Picture’s ability to be sustainable in their manufacturing process, the brand also participates in the Fair Wear Foundation’s program to improve labour conditions in the garment industry. By maintaining long-term relationships and limiting the number of factories the company works with, Picture can better oversee the manufacturing processes; therefore ensuring the best possible conditions for their factory workers.

The model in the photo is 5’4” (165cm) tall and wearing size S.
