Oakley’s bringing two new models into their range for the 2020/21 season. In all honesty, it’s probably only one – the Flight Tracker – that will appeal to the snowboard community. The other newcomer, the Flight Path, has been designed with alpine racers in mind and focusses on the expanding the upward vertical field of view.

The Flight Tracker is a direct replacement of Oakley’s longstanding bestseller, the Canopy. They’ve updated the design and increased the peripheral field of view by pulling down the lower corners of the frame. It comes in three sizes and uses a toric shaped lens which helps to eliminate any visual distortion at the sides. No fancy lens interchange systems here, just Oakley’s solid key-way system, where the lens slots into the channels running along the inside of the frame. Maybe not the fastest system for swapping out, but with Oakley’s Prizm lens tech you shouldn’t need to very often, even when the clouds start to roll in.

There’s still all the signature colourways from the likes of Mark McMorris, Jamies Anderson,  Chloe Kim, Kazu Kokubo, Scotty James and Torstein Horgmo. Stale doesn’t just get his own goggles, but it pretty much kitted out from head-to-toe with Oakley this season. With signature outerwear, luggage, a helmet and more.
