Who Is The Nitro Team Pro For?

Beginners need not apply, this is a stiff, aggressive binding for riders who push themselves to the limit every time they strap in. The fit and dampening mark it out as a freestyle focused binder, but think more booter line then jibby rails.

Baseplate

Using the same baseplate as the regular Team binding, which is super lightweight and features an airbag in the heel to dampen the ride and soak up chatter. Nice for riding on your heel edge through chop and slop- a lifesaver when you send it too far and end up landing to flat.

The chassis is a two-piece design, with an adjustable heel cup to allow you to centre your boot on your board, avoiding catching toes and heels when you’re up on your edges and keeping you perfectly balanced.

Nothing is more important than being comfortable whilst snowboarding, especially when you’re spending long days lapping the park putting your body on the line. Nitro have added a 3-degree cant to the footbed, allowing your feet to sit in at an angle for a more biomechanically sound stance.

Straps and Highbacks

The ankle strap is wider and stiffer than you’ll find on the standard team binding, for more security and precision. It still features some thermo-foam padding for extra comfort but locks in with a reinforced 3D spine. Malleable toe straps use Vibram rubber for extra durability and traction, forming round the contours of your boot to avoid pressure points.

The Pro highback takes on an asymmetric shape and is stiffer and more durable than the regular Team. It’s also forward lean adjustable if you want to crank it up onto your toe edge.

“A powerhouse binding, built for heavy days in the park, pushing your freestyle to the limit.”

Roundup

We hate the cliché of ‘If it’s good enough for Sven Thorgen, it’s good enough for us’, but in this case we’ll let it slide. A powerhouse binding, built for heavy days in the park, pushing your freestyle to the limit.
