Why we chose the Nikita B4BC White Pine Texture Women’s Snowboard Pants: Promoting a good cause with a pair of all-rounders, we like that clean-cut design.

Celebrating two decades of ‘for girls who ride’, Nikita’s 20/21 line is a perfect reflection of the brand’s journey: from a tiny wee skate shop back in the 90s to a big brand favoured by top riders. To celebrate this milestone, Nikita has teamed up with B4BC and is giving a handful of their products a unique design – including the Nikita White Pine Texture Relax Fit Pants.

Sadly, however, we weren’t able to get a hold of the specific B4BC Nikita Model for our shoot. Nevertheless, we found the story behind the collab so important that we decided to go ahead and write the review on this specific model, as all the Nikita White Pine Pants possess the same technical features regardless of the design.

“Together with Canadian artist Tori Swanson and B4BC, Nikita’s produced a design that aims to highlight the importance of self-care, a vital message of the non-profit organisation Boarding For Breast Cancer”

The all-black White Pine pants are embellished by a female form at the bottom of the left leg. Together with Canadian artist Tori Swanson and B4BC, Nikita’s produced a design that aims to highlight the importance of self-care, a vital message of the non-profit organisation Boarding For Breast Cancer.

B4BC was founded back in 1996, and their mission is to provide young people with education on early detection of breast cancer and survivor support for those affected by it. As the best means of breast cancer prevention, the foundation promotes the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, a lifestyle that also sits close to the core of what Nikita are as a brand.

It only seems right that a brand that aims to push female riders around the globe would team up with an organisation like B4BC in order to create awareness on something of such importance. Kudos for that Nikita, and hopefully, this inspires other brands to step up when it comes to promoting good causes.

By choosing the White Pine pants, you won’t just be supporting a good cause as the pants do a good job in keeping you dry and comfortable too. The 15K/15K waterproofing and breathability mean that these things can definitely take some hiking and sliding about in deep snow.

A relaxed fit also allows for more room to tweak, and with Nikita’s ‘jacket to pant connect’ system, you’re also able to connect the pants to the jacket – something which helps to keep the snow out and warmth in. When things start to get a bit too toasty, you can simply open the mesh-backed inseam vents to let in some fresh air.

As for other features, there’s an external waist adjustment to either tighten or lose the pants. You’ve also got a thigh pocket to store some bigger items in, whilst the two pockets at the back will take care of your smaller items.

Made for cruising about and waterproof enough to take on wetter / snowier days too, the Nikita White Pine Texture Relax Fit Pants are made for the ladies looking for comfy all-rounders.

The model in the photo is 5’8” (173cm) tall and wearing size S.
