Chris Corning’s go to board – the Never Summer Shaper Twin. This shaper series sender is a full-on performance driven board, capable of stomping massive kickers, laying down gnarly carves and able to turn on a dime.
The hybrid profile puts rocker in between your feet while placing camber underneath and outside the bindings. With rocker in between the feet you’ll get a nice surfy feel, while the camber gives you pop, aggression and stability. The camber underneath the backfoot is slightly more aggressive than the camber in front, which makes the tail of the board more aggressive – you’ll be snapping in and out of turns.
“However, the more experienced riders will appreciate the power and snappiness this board has to offer”
Hitting features and landing switch is easy despite the directional twin shape, so go ahead and take this thing for a spin in the park – you’ll be sending it to the moon and back. However, riders who prefer more traditional board feel underfoot might not be too stoked on this in the park due to the hybrid profile.
With a Durasurf Sintered Base, created exclusively for Never Summer, you’ll be picking up speed easier than the town junkie. The high-density base is fast, durable, and light – providing superb performance.yea
The Never Summer Shaper Twin is a versatile all mountain ripstick, covering anything from powder to park riding. A Word of warning though. This is an aggressive weapon so if you feel like you might still need some time to master your turns, you might be better off looking the other way. However, the more experienced riders will appreciate the power and snappiness this board has to offer.
