Slovenian Marko Grilc has been ripping for years. He features in films as far back as 91 Words and is still killing it at contests like Freestyle.ch today. He’ll hit pretty much everything, from big backcountry lines to icy contest kickers, with a smile on his face.

This latest ‘Grilosode’ (his Red Bull sponsored series of podcasts) sees Marko heading up to Halifax, to pay the famous dryslope a visit. While he claims to struggle a bit with not being able to use his edges (welcome to the world of mat-shredding mate!) he can’t be doing too badly, cos he manages to crank out a backflip and a decent method.

Shame there weren’t a few locals around to ride with though, cos I reckoned they woulda schooled him!
