We’ve’ already seen some of the pleasures that Oregon has on offer this season, particularly focussed around the famous Dirksen Derby, but it’s the abundance of pow that’s really been pulling in the crowds of late.

This time, we’ve got Smith riders Austin Smith, and newcomer Louif Paradis visiting for the Derby, vaguely trying not to get distracted by then endless untouched lines, but really just making the most of what’s on offer. As you might expect, it’s a complete stoker…

Josh Dirksen and Austin Smith have called Bend, Oregon home for over a decade. With Mt. Bachelor in their backyard, there’s plenty of terrain to explore throughout the year. As the Dirksen Derby enters its ninth year, the draw of the friendly competition attracts snowboarders from across the world. As the snow continued to fall throughout the weekend, it allowed for Austin to show new Smith Athlete Louif Paradis around his home resort.
