Manboys maverick Chris Rasman has spent his career making a name for himself with his balls to the wall riding style and prowess in the backcountry. Brand new for 2021 his pro model the Lib Tech Rasman is here to go BIG.

After collabing last year to create a spin off on one of Travvy’s own pro models, Mike Olson and Pete Saari have honoured Chris Rasman with his very own snowboard. Like its namesake the Rasman is built for all-terrain destruction, whether you’re into booter shooting in the backcountry, fall line descents or tearing up groomers- the Rasman has got you covered.

“You’re getting a best of both worlds approach with the float and playfulness of a traditional rocker, with the aggression and snap of a camber”

Like Travis, Chris favours Mervin’s C2 Hybrid Camber profile. Central rocker to the inserts morphs into powerful underfoot positive camber. You’re getting a best of both worlds approach with the float and playfulness of a traditional rocker, with the aggression and snap of a camber. Loading up the tail of the board in deeper snow pivots the board off the central zone and lifts the nose out of the snowpack with ease.

When you decide to spend your time ripping up fresh corduroy or slicing into early morning ice, you’re backed up by Lib’s signature Magne-Traction edge profile. Seven bumps down either edge add extra traction points to the snowboard and increase the bite on hardpack.

With over 30 years’ experience building snowboards, the crew at Mervin have dialled in the process and have it down to a fine art. Using recycled materials and green sources of power, they’re doing their part to ensure our snow playgrounds are around for future generations of rippers.

As with the graphics on his previous T.Ras spinoff snowboard, Chris has used artwork by Aron Fredriksson. Octopus vs Eagle locked in a gritty fight to the bitter end, and whether you’ve got talons, eight legs, or just two, you won’t regret strapping into the Lib Tech Rasman.
