The (deep breath) Lib Tech Jamie Lynn Phoenix Dagmar snowboard first appeared as an early release model last winter, and was well enough received to earn a place in Lib’s regular line. Unlike most of Jamie’s recent fare (such as 2015’s Deflower), this one actually has a more conventional design.
In differs from the standard Phoenix too, in that the Dagmar edition has a mixture of camber and rocker in the profile. It’s one of the reasons this is identified as a resort-friendly all-rounder; it can handle pow, park and piste admirably, even if that means that it might not truly excel at any of them.

The extra grip on firm snow from the wavy Magne-Traction edges help to compensate for the lack of true camber when it comes to carving, and the wider, unusually-shaped nose gives it extra points in the pow. Then when it’s slushy, or you just want to lap the park, it’s not so directional that you can’t enjoy a spin or two.
Naturally the Lib Tech Phoenix Dagmar is adorned with Jamie’s scribblings, and they’re among the finest we’ve seen from him in a while. With this, the JL x Mayhem collab and the Titty Fish, it’s going to be another expensive year for this guy.
