Little known fact: the New Forest is twinned with Yawgoo Valley, Rhode Island.
Well, we might have made it up, but after watching this you might think that Jack Labbett has a little New England blood in his veins as he’s able to knock out trick after trick with such style, all with even less snow than his American counterparts.
Squirrelled away on the Hampshire/Dorset border, Jack has been working on his bag of tricks away from the scene’s gaze for years now, but anyone who’s visited his home slopes of Snowtrax and Calshot will know that he’s a force to be reckoned with, a real talent. A few weeks ago we finally got the chance to bring this project to life, spending a few nights spotlighting the two slopes to bring you this: Shadows.
Hit play, full screen it and see how far snowboarding can be pushed on these shores, without a flake to be seen.
