Fresh off the back of hosting Burton’s High5 Tour, the people from Hemel’s Snow Centre have announced a couple of special deals designed to fit around kids upcoming halfterms. The Snow Centre will be running Rookie Freestyle Camps for 7 to 16-year-olds over two two-hour sessions on on Thursday 28th October and Friday 29th October. The camps will cost £55 (with a significant discount for members) and will focus on improving freestyle skills on a series of small-ish (and not too scary) obstacles.

On top of this, Hemel’s coaches will also be running beginner sessions for kids who’ve never tried riding before over four two-hour sessions starting this week and running into next week – so Monday 18 October – Friday 22 October and Monday 25 October – Friday 29 October. These sessions take place every weekday except Wednesday, meaning that by the end of a week’s course kids should be ripping down the slope pretty well.
