Last week we went into detail on some of your camera options if you’re keen to get into shooting snowboarding, but one thing we failed to mention is that the deeper into that camera gear rabbit hole you burrow, the trickier it becomes to keep track of what you’re using at any given point.
As is often the way now, however, there’s a techy solution that’s cropped up out of Kickstarter – allowing you to tag all of your gear (not just camera stuff exclusively), and track it with a single device.
While this does have the potential to leave photogs and forgetful types screaming ‘Shit where’s my GearEye?’ – we can see a lot of actual usefulness here as a means making sure you don’t leave kit out on a shoot – saving you the hassle of having to hike back to a spot and dig multiple pits in fresh snow, seeking a lens that has probably already succumb to the cold…
We’re guessing it’s also pretty handy if you have a knack of losing your keys… More details here.
