The durable face fabric is made from post-consumer waste PET bottles and is further enhanced for wet weather with a PFC-free DWR coating to protect from wind and light rain. And, instead of adding a fabric layer to protect the inside of the membrane, there is a protective print to keep you comfortable even if only wearing a t-shirt/underwear underneath.

The Root Light 2.5L Pants are made with a unisex fit, meaning that male size XS is an equivalent of a women’s size M. The pant legs are made to adjust to both snowboard and hiking boots thanks to the ankle zips and stretch cuffs, further enhancing the pants suitability to work through all four seasons

FW’s managed to keep it simple when it comes to features. The jacket features two zippered front pockets, handwarmer pockets and adjustable cuffs. The pants come with a waistband with belt loops and button fastening, and large leg vents to keep you cool.
