Stepping up their already top-quality game, FW introduces the all-new Manifest Tour garment that combines high-end backcountry functionality with aesthetics to their line. The FW Manifest 3L Tour Bib are a fine example of what FW are all about. This garment has soft Cordura panels that allow for greater freedom of movement, making both trekking up and charging down much more comfortable.
The Manifest Tour bibs are made out of a lightweight 3L stretch fabric, meaning you won’t just have a broader range of movement but also less to carry. The Cordura side panels add to the fluidity of the movement, so taking big steps isn’t going to a problem.
“Whilst having all the necessary qualities of a good pair of backcountry ready bibs, the Manifest Tour pants are also a good investment in terms of the environment”
When looking at the garments waterproofing/breathability rating, you’ll find both to be quite high – ensuring a dry ride for you from day’s start to day’s end. The pants do an equally good job at keeping the snow from getting in as they do at letting activity-induced moisture out.
When setting out for a backcountry bender, comfort is of high importance. The bib suspenders are ergonomically adjustable and have comfortable flat buckles, so they won’t be pressing into your chest uncomfortably. You are also able to adjust the waist to your liking, while the zip and snap button system makes the bib cuffs adjustable – thus making it easier to shorten the cuffs if needed.
The expanding multi-entry thigh pockets have the capacity to store anything from skins to gloves. By adding laser-cut vents to the pockets, FW’s also made it easier for any excess water to escape.
Whilst having all the necessary qualities of a good backcountry ready bib, the Manifest Tour pants are also a good investment in terms of the environment. If you manage to tear them up, you can go ahead and send them back to FW. Instead of sending you a new pair, they do their best to repair them.
If you fancy the sound of the Manifest Tour Bib’s, go ahead and pair them up with the FW Manifest Tour Jacket. It’s a winning combo.
The model in the photo is 5’10” (178cm) tall and wearing size L.
