Enter the BoobyTrap!

John Weatherley and his band of snowboarding miscreants known as The BoobyTrap are bearing down on Chill Factor to blow the roof off of snowboard coaching!

The new coaching sessions will begin this coming Thursday (21st August) and they promise to kick start your progression by learning what snowboarding is all about: FUN.

But enough from us, hear it from the horse’s mouth itself, the horse being John Weatherley aka Mr BoobyTrap:

Trap life y’all

Tired of going snowboarding and doing the same old thing? Sick of your parents sticking their oar in when they cant even snowboard themselves? If so, come down to The BoobyTrap, where having a ‘dead good boss time’ is key to learning loads of class tricks on your plank.

The BoobyTrap is a new freestyle area at the bottom left hand side of the slope, where people can come and learn new tricks, make new friends, or just have an all time wicked shred with the Booby Kids.

All ages can attend from your groms to OAP’s (no discount for OAPs)

If you can turn you can learn! Everyone entering The Trap must be the minimum standard of CFE level 4 (able to link turns, go in a straight line and stop on the lower main slope).

On entering The Trap you will be greeted by three awesome coaches who will be on hand to help you with new tricks, make it fun and show you how to keep it Booby.

All trappers must wear helmets and keep it Booby.

As you look down the trap you will see two lines of features; the ‘Booby Line’ (beginner line) and the ‘Trap Line’ (intermediate line). Both lines will have easy but progressive features for you to ride. There will be something for everyone! We encourage everyone in The Trap to hike, as you’ll learn faster and get quicker laps. Plus, it’ll knacker your kids out, helping them get an early night!

There will be two sessions on the night, the first running from 6-7.30 pm and the second from 8-9.30pm after a reshape. Only 35 people can enter The Trap so book now or you might have a disappointed kid or OAP on your hands.

All trappers must wear helmets and keep it Booby.
