When you spend days on end walking through the labyrinth of snowsport industry trade show halls much of what you see can often look the same. A splash of colour here, a throwback graphic there, the classic wood veneer topsheet to appeal to the eco-conscious consumer. Then you come across Endeavor’s stand. You’d be forgiven for thinking you’re looking at prototype bodyparts for a supercar or the work of an abstract sculptor. This is a brand who take design seriously – in terms of aesthetic and board performance. For 2020/21, Endeavor continues to draw inspiration from far beyond the immediate sphere of snowboarding, while increasing the range of sizes on all of their unisex models.

It’s actually what can’t be seen that marks the biggest change in Endeavor’s lineup for next season. Compared to conventional flat strips of carbon, they’ve redesigned these additives into 3D rods. This allows them to fine-tune specific rates of flex in any direction of rebound, essentially adding a whole other level to a boards performance customisation.

The Foundation Series remains the bedrock of Endeavor’s line. For next season, they’ve drawn visual inspiration from all the way back to 1948, with Land Rover’s Series 1 Defender. Quite a fitting theme for some their most utilitarian fleet of decks – the Ranger, Live and BOD.

Other highlights from the range include collaborations with Turkish architect turned tattoo designer, Okan Uckun, for the Pioneer and Canada-based artist, Martha Sturdy, for the Clout.
