Earth, Wind, Water and Ice | Emilien Badoux Snowboards Everything

Nidecker team rider takes to the snow... and the ice, water and air.

Is anyone else so desperate to get back on their snowboard that they would quite literally ride anything? Nidecker team rider, Emilien Badoux, ticked off no less than four elements the other day – snow, ice, water and air.

Conditions up in Verbier looked a little thin on the ground, but it didn’t stop the Frenchman making the most of what mother nature had to offer. A sketchy run in followed a straight line over the frozen lake, with by a final pond skim over the water before reaching terra firma on the other side.

(Note – keep your sound off if you don’t want to hear the sound of rocks grinding the underside of his brand new Mosquito snowboard)

Depending on who you are as a person, a certain image will appear when you think of the word falcon. Nidecker Mosquito Snowboard 2020-2021

It’s pretty clear why Nidecker gave this shred stick its buggy little name. No, it’s not its blood-slurping abilities – despite its gory tinted resin colourway, it comes with a price tag that won’t exactly suck you dry. Nor is it its ability to really get under your skin, although, since we first laid eyes on this thing, we’ve been giving it quiiite a lot of thought. Nah, instead, without question it’s the Mosquito’s two biggest selling features – its small size, and its ability to absolutely wing it down the mountain.
