If you’re going to film something in ultra-high definition 4K – you might as well point it at something good – and off the back of his epic Distorted Reality part from last year, the Nitro Bad Seeds movie and a whole bunch of banging backcountry lines in the GoPro Show, Elias Elhardt most certainly fits the criteria!
Very few riders manage to stomp tricks while looking so light on their feet.
Unsurprisingly this part looks bluddy fantastic – and even with the bar set very high by last season’s antics from Elias, it holds its own – with the method at 3.45 up there with the most picturesque shots we’ve seen on film this year…
Throughout – we get a solid reminder of how floaty Elias’ riding is – from the tree lines and jibs that open proceedings, to natural hits (3 minutes in) and effortless spine runs around the four minute mark – very few riders manage to stomp tricks while looking so light on their feet.
And to close things out? A whiteroom ender that goes for days! Putting more spray in the air than the most enthusiastic bathroom attendant – surely that’s what HD was made for!
