The Drake/Northwave family and Rusty Toothbrush crew are keeping the bond tight with a team collab snowboard and set of binders to hit the shelves in 2020/21. The new Battle Rusty is built with a split personality – check out any of the recent Rusty edits and you’ll see the team throwing down with it in the streets as easily as in the pow. It’s built with a wider than average waist width and very subtle taper, but the full, mellow camber and increased stance options make it super versatile wherever you take it. Pair it up with the new Rusty x Drake Supersport bindings and you’ve got yourself a hell of an all-mountain setup for the coming season.
That’s not the only new snowboard addition. The Cocktail takes on a much more freeride, pow-surf inspired shape and comes exclusively in a wider 160 profile. Its setback directional shape and camber obviously make it a rocket ship in the powder but it’s got all the ingredients of a hard-charging carver on the pistes as well.

The team favourite – unsurprisingly known as the Team – gets a bit of makeover. It has been redesigned with a slightly less aggressive camber and the new urethane sidewalls add to the board’s freestyle performance without leaving you short-changed over the rest of the mountain.
Northwave is known for making some of the most durable boots in the biz, and that focus continues for 2020/21. They’ve refined the speed lace system on certain models and introduced a magnetic handle with Fidlock to keep everything in its place. The stand out highlight for the 2020/21 season has to go to Ethan Morgan’s Decade GAPER69 boot – inspired by the aesthetic and sturdy reliability of his old VW workhouse, the Gaper.
