UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2018/2019 Dragon X2 here
It’s hard to make a frameless goggle that’s still instantly recognisable, but that’s what Dragon managed with this one. Despite its relatively low profile, the Dragon X2 snowboard goggle can be spotted a mile off.
That’s partially to do with its size; the Dragon X2 is a big ‘un, so will suit riders who want zero compromise on peripheral vision even if they’ve got a larger head (for those with smaller bonces, there’s always the scaled down X2s).

The spherical lens adds to its jet-pilot look, and changing it for a different tint couldn’t be simpler. The two ‘Swiftlock’ levers release the lens on either side of the frame, so you can remove and replace with the bare minimum of hand contact. Once it’s in place, it feels safe and secure too.
Aside from that cracking lens, the Dragon X2 has all the usual bells and whistles. Armoured venting keeps you fog free all day, and the silicon-backed strap will stay in place all day, even if round a helmet. It’s also super comfy on the face, thanks to the micro fleece that’s kind to your skin.
It’s one of the pricier goggles out there, but if you’ve got it then the Dragon X2 is worth the extra wedge.
