The Dragon NFX snowboard goggle is much the same in 2017/18 as it’s been for the last few years. If you’re hunting for a large-fitting cylindrical lens with no visible frame, it’s got to be right up there.
The Dragon NFX now has small, circular vents running across the top of the lens, improving its already stellar anti-fog properties. It’s been treated to resist dirt, water and scratches as well as fogging, so certainly isn’t fragile.

Changing lenses is easy; it just pops off with enough with a strong enough pull, and the new one can be clicked into place at various points around the lens. While cylindrical lenses don’t have as good a rep as their spherical counterparts, the NFX is big enough to give you a full range of vision.
Dragon’s signature armoured vents sit across the top of the Dragon NFX, ensuring that air can always pass through even if you take the kind of massive faceplant that would write off a flimsier model.
While you can’t pick up a Transitions lens for the Dragon NFX, Lumalens tech makers vision as crisp as you’ll ever need, and there are so many to choose from that you’ll be well covered in all conditions.
