The Brits did pretty well in last week’s Dew Tour 2013. While Aimee Fuller was over in the park winning seventh place in the women’s slopestyle, Jamie Nicholls was bossing the rails at the Dew Tour Nike Streetstyle Rail Jam claiming a cool 2nd place! Check out his highlights in the video above from 1.29.
Eighteen riders took on the urban-inspired rail park for a 30-minute jam, with features including a fire pit gap, dumpster, railroad tie pole and a old-school Toyota Corolla. Jamie was up against a whole host of world-class rail riders including Halldor Helgason, Ethan Morgan, Sam Hulbert and Gjermund Braaten. He managed to slip his way to the top three, with Darcy Sharpe just beating the Yorkshire rider to top spot with his winning trick of the night – a frontside bluntslide across the dumpster before throwing down a 450 out.
Also Jamie appears to be rockin’ THESE Nike LED babies throughout the night! Clearly enough the blow other competitors’ minds…!
You can check out the Streetstyle rail jam highlights on this video below with Dustin Craven being his joker-self as always:
