If you’ve never heard of Fugazi, you should’ve. The Washington post hardcore band – currently on hiatus – is one of the most influential yet unheard of bands from the last 20 years. Guy Picciotto was one of the most impressive stage presences seen since Jagger, a whirlwind of energy whilst playing and singing, often injuring himself on stage he put so much of himself into his craft.

Denis Leontyev is the Guy Picciotto of snowboarding, an unbelievable torrent of raw snowboarding powering around any hill he comes into contact with, throwing himself into anything, a tide of power and energy.

Maybe I had too much coffee this morning, or maybe this is just how we all wish we could interact with our snowboards, actually flowing down the mountain whether it’s over rails or through powder. Whatever it is, it’s good.
