The Déjà vu project, set to drop in fall 2013, is shaping up to be somewhat of an epic. The project reunites eight shredders (LNP, Nic Sauve, Will Lavigne, Frank April, Phil Jacques, Alex Cantin, Ben Bilocq and Louif Paradis) who cut their teeth together as young whipper-snappers riding the streets of Quebec and have since gone on to become household names when it comes to urban snowboarding. Déjà vu will be the first movie since ‘Bandwagon’ in 2006 to feature all eight riders.
Prologue Part 3: Subconscious is a documentary style look at what the early days (back when LNP had no beard and wore a big helmet and Nic Sauve rocked an enormous stance) riding together were like. With input from pro photographer Oli Gagnon and Snowboarder Mag Editor Pat Bridges, this is a proper interesting look at what got these guys to where they are today and what it was like filming their first session together since Bandwagon – footage that you can see in Prologue Part 2. Be warned though, this thing is lengthy (almost 20 minutes), but if you’re into street riding in any way – it’s pretty much essential viewing.
