If you’re relatively new to snowboarding and haven’t yet seen/heard of Scott Stevens, count yourself lucky. The guy’s responsible for some of the most jaw-droppingly brilliant riding ever seen, and any video part of his you watch is guaranteed to get you more stoked on the sport than you thought possible. Here’s his latest, taken from Capita’s Defenders Of Awesome:

You’d think he’d be running out of ideas by now, but it seems there’s still no danger of that – new tricks (to him, and indeed to anyone) include a footplant frontflip and an absolutely mental one-footed air to backside boardslide. It’s easy to see why he’s been called up to this year’s X-Games Real Snow contest. Scott vs. Halldor in round one – how can you possibly call that?!
