Your boots are easily the most important bit of gear you’ll be buying, they’re also the ones with the most potential to ruin your day. Getting the right boot takes a bit of time and research. With Deeluxe, you can trust in the fact that these guys know what they’re doing, and more importantly they care about the products they’re making.

Deeluxe live and breathe snowboard boots and have been manufacturing them since the mid 90’s. They were the first brand to bring a thermo-mouldable liner to market way back in ’97. They’ve got decades of experience and know how that gets poured into every single boot they make. So, rest assured, they’ve got your back… and your feet.

First up, you’ve gotta be getting the right size boot, if not this just ain’t gonna work out for you. Deeluxe measure in Mondo Point sizes, which go off the length in CM rather than mess about with different countries sizing templates. This ensures you’ll get the same fit in each boot to make sure you’re in the correct size.

The liner boots sits inside the shell with its own heel hammock and independent lacing system so you can crank it tight and stay locked in. They able to be heat moulded to your feet to personalise the fit and increase the long-term comfort. As the boot is warmed up, the foam expands and then contracts back round your foot as it cools, taking on the shape.

BOA is often classified as the quickest and easiest lacing system on the market. The dials allow you to micro adjust the fit millimetre by millimetre, and then stay bolted all day thanks to the internal lock. The ID uses two separate BOA’s, one to control the top and one for the bottom, with this system you can get the boot dialled in to your preferences. The BOA’s themselves have a lifetime warranty, so if anything should happen to go wrong, you can get it sorted easily.

There are a few things that suck more than cold feet on the hill, but not many. Deeluxe use what’s essentially a strip of aluminium foil underfoot in the shell which reflects heat back into your foot, rather than losing through the sole. It’s only a little something, but it’ll give a big boost when during those dark and cold winter mornings.

This is your mid flexing all mountain option, packed to the nips with Deeluxe’s proprietary tech, and ready for any and all conditions. Available in OG ninja black and in a huge range of sizes, the Deeluxe ID Dual BOA could be your next boot of choice.
