  • Rockers?:

They say: The lightest, most responsive board available from DC.
We say: Devun’s embraced reverse camber this year, but only a tiny bit. The basically flat base, combined with its stiff flex makes it poppy as hell. Built for dropping cliffs in the Whistler backcountry, not for jib kids.
Tester says: The ash stringers down the rails give this super light board awesome pop.

About DC

  • Building boards since: 2008
  • HQ: Vista, CA, USA
  • History lesson: DC may have only moved into making snowboards in the last few seasons, but already boasts one of the best ranges and sickest pro teams on the planet. How, you may well ask? Because when it comes to board sports, the brand has a pedigree that would piss all over any Crufts winner. The company was founded as a maker of skate shoes by Californians Ken Block and Damon Way in 1993, and started making snowboard boots shortly afterwards. Now owned by Quiksilver, the brand is still going strong.
  • Ridden by: Ever seen a G-off in the park? You know, when two people stick their hands up to drop at the same time, and then have a bit of eyeballing and shoulder-dusting to decide who got there first? Well chances are at least one of those kids was riding DC.
