It’s only a few days until the Vans Dans Of The Shred rolls into Aviemore for the fifth year in a row.

Not only has it become a must-attend comp in the diary of many a British rider, it also gets better every year. No-one could quite believe it when last year’s event was blessed with a perfect conditions, as well as the ridicuous talants of one Jamie Nicholls. This year the weatherman is saying it’ll be a similarly glorious day, with very light winds. Somebody up there must like the Dawn Of The Shred!

As well as full day of competition there’ll be the obligatory after-party and prizegiving. Tongues are wagging all over, and some would rather be up for DOTS5 than just about any other comp in any other country. We certainly wouldn’t miss it for the world. See you there!
